Crossborder Germany - Travel Requirements

You are allowed to travel to this country with our vehicles at no additional cost from our side. However, please note that it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure full compliance with the local traffic regulations of the country being visited.

This includes, but is not limited to, toll roads, environmental zones, motorway vignettes, and any other local requirements.

Toll roads: There are currently no general toll charges for passenger cars on German motorways.
Environmental zones (Umweltzonen): Many cities require an Umweltplakette (emissions sticker) to enter low-emission zones.
This sticker can be purchased after vehicle pickup at official inspection centers such as:

  • TÜV (Technical Inspection Association)
  • DEKRA
